This stand is made of "African Blackwood". Wonderful shape for displaying your bead. The little brown area in the stand top area is an inclusion in the wood. The wire is 1/16" and is 1 1/2" tall. The stand is 2 7/8" wide at the base x almost 5 3/4" in height, with top. We can change out the wire and put in a shorter or longer one prior to shipping, you just need to let us know what lenght you need.
